The Colo Lounge Chair, designed by Pedro Ávila in 2022, is part of his π collection—an exploration of sculptural furniture based on spherical volumes. Developed through both manual clay modeling and digital 3D processes, the pieces employ diverse materials such as cast aluminum, fibreglass, digitally machined wood, marble, and volcanic basalt. Named after the mathematical constant π, the collection reflects proportional harmony through rounded edges, circular legs, and organic forms. The Colo Chair features a central spherical void and can be used indoors or outdoors, offered in various colors to suit client preferences.
